Mountain bike party -
From 30/06/2007 to 01/07/2007 :
The mountain biking Grand Raid VTT is a national competition where teams of 2 compete against each other in timed races and the Street VTT. This competition is open to all and it will take place on the village streets !


Aravis Organs Festival -  
From 05/07/2007 to 10/07/2007 :
A true invitation to enjoy music across the Thônes Valley, in the company of organists and well known instrumental groups, whilst discovering some of the pleasure that the mountains have to offer (heritage, museums, farms, gastronomy, hikes...) Don't miss the concert in the pastures, Sunday July 8th.

La Clusaz'venture 2007 -
From 07/07/2007 to 12/07/2007.
The Club des sports and the TSL Outdoor Team from La Clusaz will be organising an original festival of events, open to all levels, from beginners to experts and children too !
The organisers haven't forgotten the youngsters though : an adventure school for 10-16 years olds, with canoeing, a rope bridge, climbing and mountain biking and a multi-sports discovery adventure competition for children and families.

Country Fair - 18/07/2007
This will take in the afternnon, in the village center. The craftsmen of La Clusaz will demonstrate how to make tavaillon (wooden shingles). From 6.30 pm, see Reblochon cheese and Bossonnet bread being made and, then, enjoy a country meal and folk dances. Meal tickets on sale at the Tourist Office and on premises : 12 €.

1 day of secondhand market to stroll old and actual things.

Antiques market -
25/07/2007 and 22/08/2007.
1 day of secondhand market to stroll, cloud between old pieces of furniture, crockery and books.

Walk in the Moonlight -
From 27/072007 to 28/07/2007 and from 17/08/2007 to 18/08/2007.
4 summer's evenings in La Clusaz, a calm atmosphere, the moon and the candles to light the way. A magical ambiance guaranteed : the enchantment of the village for all to see in the middle of the night !

B national pargliding competition - From 28/07/2007 to 29/07/2007.
This competition collects 150 pilots of whole France. 2 courses will be realized (1 a day).

Village festival -
From 04/08/2007 to 05/08/2007.
A week-end of games, entertainment, activities and shows especially aimed at children. You will discover traditional dances while enjoying the giant tartiflette (local cheese and potato speciality) and wandering through the stands. In the evening, soak up the atmosphere of the village dance with music...

Reblochon festival - 12/08/2007 .
A parade of floats, re-enacted scenes through "tableaux vivants", activities, bread making, and folk dances...a day to celebrate our craftsmen and the farmers and our famous Reblochon cheese. Over 5000 spectators come every year to recapture some of the spirit of the olden days and to taste many Savoyard specialities.

Bélier des Aravis - 22nd edition - 26/08/2007 .
A running and hiking race set of a life-sized picture postcard. The race is 27 km long with a vertical climb of 1000 m, mainly over the alpine trails surrounding the village. Each year, nearly 2000 runners participate in the Bélier !

Foire de la Croix - 16/09/2007
This is the first fair of the autumn fairs. It brings together the best Abondance cows. It also hosts the best Reblochon contest. Mountain farmers, shepherds and goat herders all get together to celebrate the end of the summer and the return of the herds and flocks to the village. Enjoy the parade of animals, the contests and an evening with the farmers !
